A) I LOVE the fact SEC went to 9 conference games. Better for fans & players, plus creates the most equitable scheduling model the conference has ever had B) If SMU lost their Conf Champ game last year & got in, I don't see any chance a SEC Runner up doesn't get into playoff.

Lane should 1000% coach the Egg Bowl and I expect him to regardless of his decision on next year. While everyone wants clarity asap, let him focus on finishing historic season and securing CFB Playoff berth. My educated guess: Decision comes within 48 hours after Egg Bowl.
I asked Lane Kiffin if he expects to coach the Egg Bowl. "Why would I not expect to coach next week? … We're gameplanning, we just practiced. I don't even understand how that would happen."

Couple things here… 1) I’m turning the corner on Belichick/Jordon. This level of commitment past the early honeymoon phase is impressive. 2) Becoming a member of an adult coed cheerleading team needs to be #1 punishment for finishing last in your fantasy league next year.

Lane's going to be highest paid HC in CFB regardless...so it's true....$ won't motivate him, he'll be highest paid HC regardless So if given the choice of taking LSU or Florida or coaching in a home playoff game....I think the siren song of that is too much for him to pass up

Lot of things are fluid right now regarding who Lane gives his SEC Bachelor rose to in the next few weeks The one thing I'm confident in..... Lane Kiffin will go into 2026 as the highest paid HC in CFB. More than Kirby who has 2 titles and Ryan Day who has a title as well.
