These fights for environmental justice are what brought me to public service and I will never stop caring about our health here in Brockton or stop fighting against prejudice and injustice!

That fight started in 2006 and only ended in 2025! I was sued by the nasty power plant company for $68-million dollars in their effort to get me to shut-up and turn my back on Brockton but I refused (!) we continued to fight and we won!

Today I was interviewed about my role and the help we all got from ACE (Alternatives for Community & Environment) in our 20 year long battle AGAINST the placement of a 350 megawatt natural gas and diesel power plant in Brockton!

When big banks charge 24% or 30% interest on credit cards, they are not engaged in the business of "making credit available." They are involved in extortion and loan sharking. Yes, we need to cap credit card interest rates at 10% and stop Wall Street from ripping off Americans.

This is ICE agents coming into a Privately owned building and when a Elected City Council member asks them why they are there & if they have a warrant he says that they don’t need one & to stop wasting his time! He’s basically saying that they can do whatever they want to! 🤬

We have Brockton elementary kids (who R natural born US citizens 4 many generations) but who have brown skin who insist their parents let them carry their passport or birth certificate bc they R so afraid of being kidnaped & deported! ICE is terrorizing many more than immigrants!

Right now, Democrats have the power to defund and abolish ICE. We should do it. This is about right and wrong—and the murder we are seeing on the streets is just plain wrong. Anyone who supports funding DHS and ICE is supporting the murder of Americans. We can stop this.

The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.
