Something positive for you guys. The new ARMs program worked for this young man. He came in to me in 2020 weighing 350. By last summer he was down to 250. He went to Ft Jackson for the new ARMs program and then Basic and AIT total results today he's down to 220.

In 20 years of service, many things confused me. Most notable, why S3's are a dumping ground for subpar NCOS, and why recruiting commands are given to shit officers. 2 of the most important functions IMO, running a unit, and filling units There are exceptions.. but not the norm

A Soldier either had an impact that impacted the bn level or more or they didnt. Rank immaterial. Always taught the signature authority of the award should be commensurate with the level of impact. Far too often, commanders act as if signing off is money out of their pockets
