ICYMI: We touched on how advancements in markerless motion capture are leading us into a new world of workload monitoring.
The latest from @edemchick on how workload management has become a dirty term. and why, with the data we now have at our disposal, it doesn't have to be.

cc: @jperline for the inspiration.
Before venturing into anything cool and new though, I think it’s good to acknowledge one area where there is little to no evidence of meaningfulness - workload. I’m welcome to have my mind changed if presented with research, but I’ve only ever seen evidence of the reverse (cont.).

Analysts don't look at outcomes-> the what. Today, they analyze factors-> the why. And tomorrow, they'll move even earlier to discover the how. Check out @jameshbuffi's Blueprint for Safe(ish) velocity as one way to gain an edge with biomechanics.

ICYMI: We touched on how the @NBA's Launchpad program is a great case study for how large organizations can innovate at scale.
Over the last 6 months, the @NBA's Launchpad program taught us a lot- specifically on how biomechanics can aid in player health and player development. But it also taught us about innovation. and especially innovation at scale.
