It is 5 years since the Equality and Human Rights Commission released its report finding Labour had unlawfully discriminated against Jewish members. On this anniversary, @Keir_Starmer pledges that his government will never let up in leading the fight against antisemitism.

"We must speak – clearly, publicly, and confidently – for the liberal centrebthat most of us sit in. That means rejecting the false comfort of populism, naming intolerance even when it comes from our own..." Spot on from @adamlangleben. https://t.co/7kj58BapeY

Tommy Robinson (@TRobinsonNewEra) is welcomed to Israel by a government minister. I’m banned. I’m a British Jew and a member of the Board of Deputies. Israel needs to ask itself: who are its allies, and what message does this send?

Five years after the EHRC published the report that followed their investigation of the Labour Party, @adamlangleben and I share our thoughts on what it meant then, and what it should mean now. One day we will write the book and @JewishLabour’s role in it. For now, read this:

Some of the replies to this… 🤯 A reminder that, at a time when women’s reproductive health and rights are under attack, Labour will always defend them.
NEW: The morning-after pill will be available free of charge on the NHS from pharmacies today! This is biggest change to sexual health services since the 1960s and a major advance for women’s reproductive health. https://t.co/ZmjuBU94u4

Today marks five years since the publication of the EHRC Report on Antisemitism in the Labour Party. The Labour Party has come so far under the leadership of Keir Starmer, having turned the party around to be a place where you can be proud to be Jewish.

UPDATE: We did it! The Renters’ Rights Bill has now PASSED through the House of Commons. We expect it to reach Royal Assent shortly. This is a huge win after years of campaigning by renters. There's more to do, but this is worth celebrating!

🚨 32 arrested in London's largest-ever operation targeting organised shoplifting gangs. @metpoliceuk officers raided over 120 shops, seizing hundreds of thousands of pounds in stolen goods. Shop theft isn't victimless - these gangs fuel crime and drive up consumer costs.

We face a rising tide of antisemitism throughout the UK. Now, up to £10 million in new funding will help protect Jewish communities - but we must go further to fight for a society that is free from hatred and violence. As your Home Secretary, I am committed to this fight.

This is the wrong decision. We will not tolerate antisemitism on our streets. The role of the police is to ensure all football fans can enjoy the game, without fear of violence or intimidation. https://t.co/8aBeqE4qbA

The NHS should be safe for all. I’ve been shocked by NHS staff who seem to think that racism against Jewish people is acceptable - encouraged by a complacent and indifferent regulatory system. Enough. John Mann will lead a short, sharp review to deal with racism in our ranks.

Everyone deserves to feel safe in this country. Two weeks ago, following the horrific terrorist attack in Manchester, I saw first-hand the fear inside the Jewish community, and I promised to do everything in my power to guarantee them the security they deserve. That started
