I think itβs supposed to make up for armor resisting phys damage and enemies not really having magic res, but enemies have unupgraded armor so it doesnt balance. Once you get used to the dance of aiming magic, hotkey refills, keeping a conjure meatshield up, etc, its fun

Realizes bonus stacking is INSANE for weapons. Weapons get damage boost enchants/potions/100% from perks/smithing/smithing potions/enchant damage is boosted by destruction perks/potions. Magic has 50% perks/potions/fire gets an extra boost from an illusion perk for like 15% fire

To actually have fun as a mage you need to understand certain tools. 100% cost reduction is boring, hotkey a fort magicka enchant and double tapping to regain that chunk for spells in your current power rang is engaging. The public low damage perception is also because nobody-
