one of my fav things about the mtg community is that i truly think we have a very high density of girl's girls IME other women in the space are almost always so kind and welcoming and eager to be friends. we've got a shared understanding. nice :)

discourse aside, I'm excited for the Avatar: the Last Airbender set i fell in love with ATLA as a 5y/o girl who, for the first time in her life, saw her language, culture, and characters who looked like her depicted onscreen—first time a UB set has felt like it was "for me" ☺️

Imagine being this transphobic. Who the fuck raised these people? Sylvie, you had an insane run! I hope you can enjoy it and ignore this shit. Winning a large event takes a lot of guts regardless of your gender. Fuck those who have nothing better to do than shit on hard work.
This weekend was incredible. So many amazing moments, so many memories made. I couldn’t do this without the help of this amazing community. Congrats to everyone who made top 16 and a special shout out to Sylvie who took down the entire tournament.

reminder that every trans suicide is a murder. this poor girl had a full life of love ahead of her, a member of the swim team with multiple degrees and in so many clubs, but she was targeted for being herself and barred from doing what she loves. there is no reason for this hate
They kicked Lia Smith off the Middlebury College Swimming and Diving team for being trans and now, as the 2026 season kicks off, she's dead. Rest in power, Lia. The world is so cruel sometimes.
