On a private donor call in the MI Senate race, a Mallory McMorrow backer said he had read her private AIPAC position paper and that it’s “outstanding.” Her campaign denies to @DropSiteNews that she produced one. Listen:

I literally never endorsed her or heard a word from her team. I promise you, I have not talked to anyone, emailed anyone about endorsements, or even hinted that I would be open to endorsing her.

The AI discovered U-shaped relationships - both too little AND too much of certain foods increase dementia risk. Example: Eggs protect brain at 0-1/day but harm at >1/day. Same pattern for poultry, vegetables, and others.

The thing speaks for itself. The new """left""" magazine, ladies and gents. I just knew this is what it would come down to: neoliberal oikophobia and servicing the cheap-labor lobby.

Interesting read because first President Obama and then President Biden tried to give Kerr County funds to update their Flood Warning Systems, but they REJECTED it from Obama but then Senator John Cornyn told them to KEEP the cash from Biden and still not update the system -

One thing about DHS/ICE getting $100 Billion dollars in the new bill is at least we now know from DOGE a future executive can just instantly & unilaterally slash that to zero if they want!

Using the word activist here is astonishing. He’s trying to distance his politics from mainstream liberal influencers.

Democrats have a huge problem with young men, but two activists and a race scientist are perhaps the three *least* likely people to have any solutions.

I’m a little frustrated to see these critiques from the abundance guys. Like this is the inevitable result of not addressing economic inequality

Our economic policy is so, so strange and bad. A bizarre combination of hating trade and hating elites has led us to be furious about the fact our policies send low-value manufacturing work overseas ... while we target high-value science for destruction and send it overseas.

I talked to working Americans for the first two years of his presidency and that was not the impression people had. Prices went up, benefits were cut/not renewed, and wages didn't keep up. Maybe that was the "most pro-working-class president in 60 years" but it wasn't enough

Joe Biden was the most pro-working-class president in 60 years, and working-class voters did not care.

Today, we’re announcing the first major discovery made by our AI Scientist with the lab in the loop: a promising new treatment for dry AMD, a major cause of blindness. Our agents generated the hypotheses, designed the experiments, analyzed the data, iterated, even made figures

Pope Leo XIV explains his choice of name: "... I chose to take the name Leo XIV. There are different reasons for this, but mainly because Pope Leo XIII in his historic Encyclical Rerum Novarum addressed the social question in the context of the first great industrial revolution.

the MGP/Klein interview is useful because a lot of people appear to have been suffering from the delusion that the motley crew of moderate democratic overperformers are abundance-adjacent when the reality is that kind of politics is anathema to most of them too
