Another busy day at reserve #SavisWarbler again we urge all visitors to respect neighbours, #Otmoor lane is very narrow with limited passing places. Park in marked areas, very limited parking. Pay for parking π. Keep the damage to banks to absolute minimum. Thank you. Enjoy.

11/8 : 2 Whinchat : Otmoor: 100-acre. On bushes and fence line near the bridge. One often following male redstart.

14/8 : 150 Yellow Wagtail : Otmoor: RSPB reserve. Fairly chaotic with birds flying in and out of the reedbed roost site over a 20 minute period. Conservative estimate of 150.

A Brown Hairstreak today at Otmoor RSPB. My 48th butterfly species in Britain this year. There is only one more species I am likely to find, the Scotch Argus. #Savebutterflies
