Another busy day at reserve #SavisWarbler again we urge all visitors to respect neighbours, #Otmoor lane is very narrow with limited passing places. Park in marked areas, very limited parking. Pay for parking 😊. Keep the damage to banks to absolute minimum. Thank you. Enjoy.

This first-winter male BLUETHROAT is present for a third day and showing about once every 90 minutes from the very furthest screen overlooking on of the pools - a 1.3 mile walk from the main car park

Yesterday afternoon at Otmoor this juvenile Bluethroat showed well every now and again. And in Oxfordshire of all places! Was distant though. @BirdGuides @RareBirdAlertUK

11/8 : 2 Whinchat : Otmoor: 100-acre. On bushes and fence line near the bridge. One often following male redstart.

14/8 : 150 Yellow Wagtail : Otmoor: RSPB reserve. Fairly chaotic with birds flying in and out of the reedbed roost site over a 20 minute period. Conservative estimate of 150.
