Yesterday the Government published amendments to the Planning and Infrastructure Bill. They are a step in the right direction but the law will still weaken environmental protections and put nature at risk. ❌ We can’t let this happen.

This black-and-yellow longhorn beetle was recently spotted at Loddon Nature Reserve! πŸ’›πŸ–€ . These striking beetles can be seen between May and August and are most active in warm weather, with a particular fondness for umbellifers such as cow parsley and hogweed. πŸ“Έ Ian Butterick

Look at this fantastic fluffy find at Finemere Wood!. This moth is called the drinker because of the caterpillar's habit of drinking drops of dew from grass stems - you can find them on the wing over July and August. πŸ“Έ Phil Townsend
