Glorious music from tonight's @bbcproms of Striggio's Forty Part Mass by @leconcertspi under Hervé Niquet. I think quite closely miked for performance in the round?. Not sure Prommers standing in the Gallery would have heard the same sound, despite millennium mushroom makeover!.
Well, I was going to try to get to RAH this evening after hearing part of @leconcertspi’s Striggio on #InTune with @petroctrelawny on Friday, but after an afternoon working on the patio, decided to sit out and enjoy @bbcproms on the radio instead with a cocktail… 🍸🪴🎶🎶

As well as still having Guy's and St Thomas' Trust branded sign outside the Streatham Hill building, I today discovered that @GSTTnhs website still has Streatham Hill down as a functioning community health centre.

Was the Mayfair Club in basement underneath Chelsea Building Society at corner of Wyatt Park Road? . 45 Streatham Hill is shown as a ruin on postwar OS map. Block was apparently rebuilt c.1955 then extended south c.1962 with Crown Post Office on ground floor (now MFC bakery).
Another great advert from our collection of Streatham Hill Theatre programmes. Number 45 is now the Mediterranean Food Centre!
