Did you know that today you can build collapsibles with accordion capabilities and animations without writing a single line of JavaScript? Read more about it in my latest blog post:
beyond-the-cascade.com
Accordions & collapsibles appear in most web projects these days but most of them are either way too complex or not accessible at all. Let's shed some light on how to implement them properly in 2025.

P.s. I have no idea how bikeshed works. Maybe there is already a solution for this that I don't know of.

This could help CGs like CSS-Next and WebDX to get a better overview of what got recently added and maybe needs to be added to one of their coresponding buckets.

https://t.co/dk5RG0bNNa Is a good example where units are mixed with other terms like 'interpolation'. Wouldn't it be a good thing if there would be more ways to parse / extract individual features straight from the specs other than properties?

https://t.co/INpFn2UUhQ Currently lists all properties, but what if I want a list of all features of CSS? I was looking through the specs and couldn't find a way to distinguish 'terms' from any kind of feature.

To anyone at the CSSWG, is there any reason why there are mainly (only?) propdef and descdef? Why aren't there other defs for data types units pseudo-elements, classes etc.? Maybe @tabatkins @fantasai ?

Waking up to this 1 day after @bramus session @CSS__Cafe is one of the most promising things I've seen in a while. Going into depth on MPA view transitions on a big stage like IO sounds like it's close to being shipped and close to being adaptable as progressive enhancement! ๐Ÿ˜

๐Ÿคฉ Exciting news from the @CSSWG F2F. We just resolved on adding sibling-count() and sibling-index() to css-values-5 ED! ๐Ÿฅณ This was the #1 request we heard from authors at @CSSDayConf. Yes, we *are* listening to you. https://t.co/GvdNnI8gtJ

Problem Currently we can query a child based on it's child index position or query on children length (with some complex syntax), but we can't use the index or length as values in our style...

New article: โ€œCyclic Dependency Space Togglesโ€ Over the past few years, I wanted to be able to select a value from a list in CSS by toggling a single custom property. We have the โ€œspace toggleโ€ for booleans, and hopefully, one day, weโ€™ll get style queries, but what about today?

Tweaked the View Progress Timeline Ranges and Animation Progress Visualizer a little bit. Now persists your settings in the URL (meaning you can share it) and also shows the resulting CSS output. https://t.co/MG7NMZlzHv #CSS #ScrollDrivenAnimations

CSS is where the most innovation is happening right now in the web tech space. It was awesome to be at #CSSDay this year surrounded by my fellow CSS nerds. ๐Ÿ™‚ Loved all the great conversations I had and talks over the past 3 days. Leaving with tons of ideas for the platform โค๏ธ
