So…I went to see @thedarkness perform at the @MandSBankArena tonight and the fire/smoke alarm went off after the first song. We all had to evacuate the venue after the first song 😂 Check out the smoke above the lights 😬 I’m curious how this was tested at the venue 🤔🤔

That said, I am calling everyone out for a challenge! You give me a web component of any framework that you think is impossible to test or get a 100% test coverage for and I will proof you otherwise 🧐 if I loose I will donate $100 to a charity of your choice! Game on! 🤝

All component testing examples I see out there are overly simplistic and stop where user interaction is required 🙈 makes me really thing if folks test their components thoroughly! I am very excited how @webdriverio will be able to change that! 🚀

The most exciting v8 feature is the new browser runner that allows you to run unit and component tests in an actual/real browser environment. It comes with presets for @reactjs, @preactjs, @vuejs, @sveltejs, @solid_js and @buildWithLit and is powered by @vite_js 💪  (3/6) 🧵

You know why us Senior+ engineers have good hygiene around structuring and naming conventions? It’s because we’ve been bitten by our mistakes enough times to have respect for what we can do wrong when we’re careless.

Had a great day at my first @testing_atelier event in Leeds :) I really enjoyed the talk by @ObjectiveTester as well as picking his brain on the role of a Test Architect. And I FINALLY got to meet the infamous @Beth_AskHer after several online interactions 🙂 #TestAtelier

We’re creating a space with one of the leaders and #Selenium core contributors @titusfortner to talk about Page Objects. What are they? What makes a good one? Do we always need them? What are alternative approaches? Live Q&A #programming #testing https://t.co/USiwK2xEMW

@shs96c I don't think it's helpful. A lot bundle under E2E there. Security? Performance? Accessibility? Also the distinction between manual and automated needs to die. It's very damaging. Time spent thinking about risks, designing tests ideas, executing them. Vs building tooling

@4EVER1CONIC A difficult to implement oracle, or assertions that are flaky, is usually a sign that your test is too big, or its on the wrong layer. I didn't do the best job is this talk, but I talk about oracle's here https://t.co/SXU8I8MzcJ
