who have developed outstanding rollback implentations in very old systems not designed for it. In many cases I think it's a matter of prioritization rather than one of feasibility.
If you order a lemonade in AU, they will bring you Sprite. After the 3rd time this happened we asked our server how to properly order lemonade. He said it was impossible. Your only hope is that your server knows what American lemonade is and makes it from scratch for you.

The algorithm is not particularly difficult to implement if you understand the approach. The biggest technical obstacle for existing engine is probably separating simulation from rendering and fast serialization of game state.

My 6th Grader's homework for his Design unit is to play Space Invaders and Zork and come prepared to discuss. He'd also like tips on Ultimate to take back to his team for their PE Unit. I really wish school was more engaging when I was his age!
