I’m so sick of the lack of voices from those who come from a poverty background. Journalism. Media. Government. There is absolutely not enough representation. I am taught in every possible to be ashamed of my parents and background. I am absolutely not.
Those in power should not exclusively be from fee paying schools, people that are shielded from the consequences of bad behaviour and crimes. The same applies to journalists who progress solely due to family money who go on to manipulatively tell poor people how to think. 4/

Do any OTs get frustrated when the ward incorrectly manual handle someone giving them false expectations of what they can manage ??? I feel awful telling someone they cannot use the Stedy because their max assist transfer to sitting to the edge of the bed.

(I’ve tried different techniques but it still requires max assist to sit). It’s just really bugging me this weekend #NQOT.
