Contrarian & insightful 👇. Setting up a bitcoin reserve can weaken trust in the $USD, and the cost of that could surpass the benefits of the reserve itself. But without a reserve, any pro-crypto regulation is just less compelling (gotta put your money where your mouth is!).
The US doesn’t need a strategic Bitcoin reserve for the same reason it doesn’t need a sovereign wealth fund: its strength lies in a dynamic, innovation-turbocharged economy, not stockpiling assets. 🚀🇺🇸.
