Built in 2010, it had issues from day 1 with 20 passengers getting stuck in a vehicle on opening night. it didn't run between 2010-2017 and was finally killed off by COVID (MCO)

The rationale behind opening a calmed Grattan St to traffic was to enable Queensberry to be given the same treatment in future. two balanced streets or 1 Grattan plaza + 1 Queensberry sewer.
And the reopening of Grattan Street and Franklin Street are other lost opportunities to get rid of cars from streets that don't need them.

The Upfield line works are the perfect time to trail safe bike lanes on Sydney Road.
Vic Gov treats bike riders with absolute contempt. These are the proposed alternative routes when the rail line + bike path is closed for rail elevation. Unsafe, slow, and with many stretches over cobblestones. All because they refuse to put bike lanes on the main road (yellow)

the whole point of the trip was to experience the overnight sleeper with my 3yo. I only booked this ticket a month ago... An overnight bus journey with a 3yo is f*c... ..less than ideal Will try to cancel and book a flight instead. 😭
