They weren’t aggressive dogs, just a bit energetic and excited, but then there’s a fine line between that and chasing stock. He was going nuts shouting at them, but I couldn’t help think why wouldn’t he just spend time on their basic obedience to avoid this at all

Yesterday I was feeding a group of young cattle next to a bridleway, 2 biggish staffy cross dogs came charging over. I put my collie in the truck. The owner was livid and embarrassed and shouting blue murder, but they didn’t listen a jot. It was ok, but pretty typical there

We farm, graze cattle and crop land around a lot of people, masses of housing, rights if way and population density. Multiple Dog ownership is incredibly high and people want to walk their dogs off a lead. But the basic recall is so rare now. Very very few people have it nailed

Is beef mince the new algorithm that Elon is peddling? Or Thick as Mince maybe? 😂🐮
I know everyone’s sick of hearing it, but fucking hell it’s expensive to feed yourself at the moment. I just picked up ingredients for chilli for this evening and a few other bits and was best part of £40. What do you mean 500g of mince is EIGHT BRITISH POUNDS??

Sorry … but I didn’t sacrifice several years of my life trying to solve the meat processing and distribution racket to just say “just go to the store” The point here and I really don’t care if you take offense to this. We celebrate gambling, market to obese people, drinking is
@jasonmauck1 Well just like you go to the store to buy milk, I don’t see anyone buying chips from a potato farm, cigs from the tobacco farm, or pop and alcohol from a sugar cane or grain farm either without regulation. I get your argument is health but regulation is everywhere.

🤣 This is gold Richard you manage to articulate perfectly what we’re all thinking 🤪
Just to let you know, this isn't my country life. Mine is a fucking sore back, a nagging fear the government will ditch CS and a dubious black thorn barb that won't shift in my elbow. But hey, lifestyle innit? Not in my name.

@Keir_Starmer Kier you gotta stop talking like we are thick. Cutting red tape…..you have done the exact opposite and every small business owner in Britain knows this. We got more rules, more costs, more hassle on the very people who graft and keep this country afloat. The new day one rights

Just had the below email from @DefraGovUK What a waste of public money. For the 2nd year running, Labour have cut our delinked payments to such an extent they are only paying us, £600, that’s about the cost of filling a tractor up with 1 tank of diesel. The cost of administering

Feeling slightly sick listening to RR in her keynote speech. All the ‘support’ for ‘working people’. Politics right now is at rock bottom
