Well here I am in ICU and for the 3rd time in 4 years the wonderful NHS has saved my life. This time I’ve had my heart value replacement. Thank you to everyone in the cardiology team at the Northern General for looking after me & being utterly amazing ❤️

This incredible woman is Karen Piotr. 6 years ago, without hesitation she made the incredibly brave decision to allow her husband’s organs to be donated. I was one of the 8 lucky people to have their lives changed by her selfless generosity. The world needs more people like Karen

Well the beautiful NHS has done it again and saved my life! Due to a diligent GP, skilled Radiology team & top neurologists. a pesky little vein was spotted. Few months later A brill Radiology squad just did a 7hr op to block off the little blighter. THE NHS IS BRILLIANT x

I underwent 2 long procedures in the space of 7 days to nip off the fistula in my head, totalling 12 hours of general anaesthetic. The last lot knocked the wind out of me and I’ve been lying around the house like a sick dog but... I’ve turned a corner & now I’m on the up😍xx NHS

Are you mad? It was safer for us shielding to have gone out side during lock down while everyone else were locked in doors, now it’s like Billy Smarts circus out there. I’m boarding up my windows!
Now we’ve flattened the curve & reduced new infections, from tomorrow, the 2.2 million people who have been shielding can safely go outside
I know how much those shielding have sacrificed. Thank you to everyone who has protected our NHS & saved lives

Started with a temperature earlier today aches and headache but no cough. So may have the virus or I may not. no idea. So will be isolating for next 14 days just incase. Wish there was some sort of test you could take. Big love all x
