The landlord is absolutely not the owner of The Leadmill. He is the owner of an old derelict flour mill building. Once we are evicted then everything that has made this building special will be gone. Once we are out, there is no heritage, there is no Leadmill.

@SheffieldStar Theyre not taking over The Leadmill, we own everything to do with that brand. Theyre booting all 80 of us staff out (not just management) and taking on an empty, once-derelict flourmill building. Please use correct terminology as you're just confusing matters with this headline.

Big respect to those venues that don’t take a percentage of a band’s merch sales. This isn’t about The Charlatans, it’s about those bands who need merch income to survive. Some places take 25%.A quarter of the full selling price. Vinyl doesn’t even have that mark up to begin with.
