When dogs are abducted, collars, tags, and trackers are removed. Their microchip remains the best chance to be reunited. Abducted dogs often get sold on to new families, unaware of the crime. Most will register their new dog at a vet practice. Yet few will have their microchip

It is a legal requirement to microchip cats and dogs in the UK, but optional for authorities to scan and check the details. How many missing and abducted pets have passed through vet practices without being scanned and without being reunited? We don’t know 💔 We do know there
