4-5 max effort sprints at 100% with full recovery will get you faster than 20 sprints at 90% with minimal rest time. Yet coaches are out here still running 40 40’s. #FeedTheCats.

Every position we’ve left has been filled by another Coach. Everyone moves on whether the program keeps growing or not. Our job is replaceable. Put an insane amount of effort into changing kids lives, but if we aren’t prioritizing family and faith above our role, we’re backwards.
I forgot to bring a mug today and had to settle for a styrofoam cup. One of my favorite lessons out there. The perks of a position aren’t for you, they’re for whoever holds the position. This room is incredible, but it’s not for me. Videos.

Had a great freshman year in the weight room this year. None of this would have been possible without the help of @PerooPer4mance. End of year numbers Bench-190 Squat-315 Clean-210. Looking forward to getting lots of work in this summer and ready to have a huge football season.

Train top speed at least once a week… don’t care what sport you do or don’t play 💪🏼.
🔥 Is it necessary to train top speed as a team-sport athlete?. Short answer: ABSOLUTELY. I thought sports are made up of mostly acceleration?. That can be true, BUT:. ✔️ We do need to be ready when top speed exposures occur.✔️ Top speed stimulus is INSANELY valuable. Listen:

A @teambuildr feature that stands out to me this most is the endless amount of ways to use self entry. “I’m the only one in the room who can record data!!!” - A coach that tracks trends twice a year. Trust your athletes with self entry and you get daily data in return!!!.
