100% correct. If it's "just about the music" then go vocal for vocal and performance and performance. But the stans of mediocre studio artists who keep up with everything Beyoncé does (and it's not just Swifties) never do that.
This proves everything I suspected about Taylor Swift’s “success.” This person admitted it but switched the names around. She is the white community’s “answer” for Beyoncé…. their way of assuring each other that they can be MADE successful even without the raw talent.

There are dozens of new and established artists making exciting R&B. NxWorries had one of the best albums of 2024 (and the Grammys agreed), but I haven't heard shit about it from the "We Love R&B" brigade. But y'all want Dangerously in Love Part III?. GTFOH.

Y'all (not Beyoncé) have marginalized R&B to the point where (unless you're SZA) you can only play large venues and get streams with "anniversary tours" or by sampling old hits and you resent the fact that Beyoncé's career isn't as stagnant.

No one disrespects R&B more than the R&B fans whose tastes stopped evolving when 106 & Park went off the air, because y'all only support R&B artists who sell nostalgia. "R&B isn't stagnant" and yet y'all 🫵🏽act like nothing interesting has happened in R&B since 2012.
