@JDVance Sorry but you were the only baby ever worth choosing crack over. Every time your mom neglected you was justified. Sorry. Amy Adams sucked in that movie too, sorry. Nothing you touch ever goes right. You should try some of Elon’s medicine sometime. Sorry.

I think this ties into Rick Veitch’s maximortal critique of Superman which is that at its core Superman once he became a corporate figure is one that is built on exploitation and yet the core idea of Superman is one that is powerful enough to shine through
This would be a good point I guess but at the same time trying to blame corporations for everything in the comic means you start to run the argument that what good points the comics have is in from corporations too, like the collaborations had no say or the like.

Captain America All the best stories featuring the character are based around characters I find far more interesting, and every attempt to revamp him and make him relevant falls into typical weak-wristed propaganda
@shin_kale_rider What's a capeshit character you don't think you'll ever get into

In my opinion, the reason this comic will likely not be adapted is because the core message of the book is one that is really easily misinterpreted and too cynical for most people to get on why Superheroes don’t belong in war stories. Reminds me of Mash
This was an animated short based on our book THE PRO from Image comics that Amanda Conner made with the crew at TITMOUSE many years ago to convince a studio to make a Painkiller Jane movie. We thought with THE BOYS being so popular it was a non-brainer but It never went

Captain America is so weirdly immune to criticism from Marvel fans. That’s not to say his orginal message during WWII wasn’t powerful, or that he hasn’t had some amazing runs but Captain America deserves a lot of the shit Superman gets
Read the replies and quotes for yourself so you can see how most captain America fans have the mindset of a 12 year old with the argument of “he represents what America should be not what it is🤪”

Ironic you say that about a book Alan Moore actually liked. He even helped Ennis with the sequel a bit

I can not disagree enough. Punisher like judge Dredd works best with solo issues and small story arcs. I don’t want another cloonan where every arc is dragged out. Like even Ennis’s run which went on for 60 issues was set up in story arcs.
I always wondered why the Punisher hasn't had a long run since the 90's, and why Marvel hasn't put together a plan for a 4 year ongoing series. I know it's always good to bring in new readers and have new beginnings, but it's also possible to have a long and successful run.

With all the negative comments I want to point you in the direction of this analysis https://t.co/02f61TrhnH breaking down what makes your run so great and how it ties into the core themes of Wonder Woman.

Hellblazer from Delano to Ennis to Jenkins to Carey is banger after banger
This opens up an interesting question about what the best "back-to-back" runs are in comic history? I would need time to generate a proper list, but this, Lee/Conway on Spider-Man, Bendis/Brubaker and Miller/Nocenti on Daredevil all spring to mind.

One he is comparing it to other solider’s who write war comic. Two, Captain America is propaganda that justified a lot of later atrocities. Three United States people are obessed with Captain America but don’t except the rest of world to be

Comicbook twitter is dumb. This is not to say you can’t critize authors ( espically for racism) but saying they are a fraud and haven’t written good things in a decades is so dumb ( World’s finest, red Sonja or clean room or secret six)
Gail Simone has been a fraud for some time now Same situation with Mark Waid Wrote some good books like 3 decades ago Now only makes dogshit, but (as far as I know) at least Waid didnt turn racist lol

Punisher mother Russia focuses on someone who was experimented on by the government and turn into a weapon and he doesn’t kill her
@dead_flow3rs Frank would straight up try to put a bullet through his skull the moment he goes out of control.
