Just spent an excellent three days in Nairobi with the @ACORN_AMR team, reviewing preliminary results, planning further analyses, and proposing next steps for the network. Manuscripts coming soon!
@ACORN_AMR presented the main results of the AMR surveillance project, showcasing high-quality data on the burden of AMR in low-resource settings across 19 sites in 9 countries. By connecting microbiology lab data with patient outcomes, they are helping to close data gaps

@PaulTurnerMicro and colleagues in Cambodia explored the pediatric nasopharyngeal microbiota with culture, MALDI-TOF MS, and targeted metagenomic sequencing. This was technically feasible and revealed complex lineage-level colonization dynamics. #mBio
