Switch Menu Mockups recently discovered on a Prototype Switch Nand. They seem to come from early in development as the "Switchboard" Menu style was already set in stone mostly in 2016. So it is assumed that these pictures come from a point before then.
The Nintendo Switches Codename was the NX and this was an early Logo / Boot Up animation used during development of the Console ( It was found in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Prototype ) This was never seen outside Nintendo
Fun fact: the rings around the Xbox logo seen throughout these screenshots are actually displaying the console's serial, which Microsoft used to sneakily track down and ban people who leaked images of the dashboard before its release.
Also found in the files were Design concepts for the Nintendo NX later known as Switch. Changes can be seen in the color and buttons. ( Camera button on Joycons are an actual camera and volume up and Down buttons on the Tablet )
Stadia Development Node. Previously was used as the Development platform for Google Stadia Titles but now serves as my daily driver PC. As the hardware is basically a server motherboard with an "unreleased" graphics card by AMD.
I might just discovered a piece of Nintendo History, a possible part of the Proto Wii U Gamepad. If you know of more Pictures showing off the hardware prototype PLEASE share them with me here. Any information is welcome.
Xbox 360 XDK Developement Kit with a pre-production / Dev Kit Kinect running the unreleased Peter Molyneux game / Experince called: "Milo" later known as "Milo and Kate"
Uninitialized Wii U Kiosk unit with only a Tech Demo Installed from the Factory and the Linux Computer acting as a Authorisation Server for the unit to be able to boot and load "Games".
In the dump of the Switch Prototype console the pngs were found which were used to create some of the Avatars seen in the mockups, marked as: Friends and Avatars. I will share the pictures in this thread.
Yeah the Pikmin 1 Remake is cool but I like to play the original Windows version more! It even runs in Windows 10 Natively. I like it way more then the Gamecube or Wii Ports
@MinecraftMeme16
Im so confused ? Can somebody explain to me what they changed ? Like you could always upload your own skin ? Why are people mad right now ?
@GaijinGoombah
You cant expect everybody to cater to your specific needs. Like back in the day you would try to learn common lhrases before traveling and buy little books with a bunch of helpfull tips and now we have the internet at our fingertips and get angry that mot everybody speaks english
Prototype Nintendo Switch Unit Pre Release. Early Production Development units came with Black Joycons (Which aren't avaliable at retail) and this unit has been Modded with Prototype Joycon Joysticks. Which never went out of the testing phase. Dev Units came with 64GB of Storage.
The earliest working Nintendo Switch Main menu can be found in "NintendoSDK SystemSoftwareKit for NX", which were given to some third-party developers before the Switch's launch. From late 2016 known as "Firmware version 0.8.5"
The only Japanese Kiosk 3DS we know of so far. It uses a HDMI D connector instead of the normal Nintendo DSI / 3DS Power Connector. Marked as CTR (-005) whilst the Louvre 3DS systems are marked as -006 and standalone Kiosk units as -004
Nintendo 3DS 2010 X4 Prototype. This unit has sadly been destroyed due to missing pads but in a Nand dump we had uncovered ab Unreleased First Party Nintendo Game / Tech Demo which was shown at E3 2010 to select Press Partners.
Nintendo Wii U Tablet still in factory mode / Test Mode from the factory as these boards might have had defects and were binned before the normal software could be loaded onto them.
The pictures themself are marked as being created in 2015 but they were found in an "Album" Test folder so the date ranges can be wrong and only be given for in app display purposes.
Not sure how long I have until the German Police finds me but I am enjoy Postal the way its supossed to be enjoyed (with late 90s gaming hardware)

A Nintendo NDev unit. A Wii Development kit. Its open in this picture this was recovered from the German Company Crytek, makers of the Cry Engine. It seems to not have gotten any use at that company since on the internal Nand we were able to recover data from Factor5 another 1/2
Here you can see a retail unit that is fitted with Prototype Black Joycons that have sticks which never got released in a prototype Dock that lacks the Switch Branding and an unprinted back shell which were used in 2016 before release.
Nintendo Switch Pro Controller Prototype, the Markings on the Top reading "DP" have not been figured out to this day, some say it stands for "Development Platform" but without a leak from Nintendo RND we will never really know what it stands for.

@valentingaio
I cant imagine how the childeren will react when they get to the movie and the real freddy fazebear is there whilst their mom promised them that they aren't real and can't hurt you.
@techis2507
tbh having something for years makes you kinda numb to how cool it can be. if we lets say got this style and the switchboard style would leak you could possibly be saying the same thing. Its different thats for sure.
Nintendo Zone Wireless Distribution Box Cartridges. Used to transmit the "Nintendo Zone" at special locations allowed the user to receive special news and DLC. Revision 1 hasn't been seen on the Internet until now.
A box of destroyed Pokemon Wireless Distribution Event Cartrdiges, these couldnt be saved as the Rom Chip which itself was cracked. These were not for resale and were supposed to be send back to Nintendo or Destroyed like these ones have been.
@WhiskeyBougard
I am sadly not much of an Xbox person myself but it was later figured by modders due to changing the serial. I am not 100% sure if its know how to decode it.
I was thrifting today in Hurricane Utah and bought a bunch of old n64 games from a guy who smelled like a corpse lmao. He said he was a developer for a chuckie cheese knock off back in the day. And I cant seem to find info on this game on the N64. No roms online available weird.
Nintendo Gamecube Factory Testing Discs, different Versions for different Regions of the World. They have been written as one of the first Programms to run on gamecube and haven't made use of the Gamecube SDK at all which makes them impossible to boot from swiss via Picoboot.
Although never released, the iQue GBA they sold in China came with an advertisement for the iQue Wii on the Box.

Just found this on eBay, and I'm not sure if this was known before.

I mean yeah that sounds like a "Chairholders" move to me but like I said since you can upload your own skins anyways that doesnt change anything really
The inside of the Wii U Kiosk "Disc Emulator" as this unit has a harddrive installed instead of loading the games from Disc. Plus the extra wiring installed to be able to connect a Corded Controller to the unit.
@PDakkadakka
Imagine being so fragile that a person living their best life is degenerat / creepy. I recommend leaving the Internet for a moment and touching grass smh
Correction, it seems that perhaps only the News Area on the Main Menu was called the "Switch Board" I mistakenly used it for the entire style of the menu which might be wrong as in the code its only known as "Home Menu"
Nintendo DS IS NITRO CAPTURE unit / Dev Kit. Original DS Dev unit with integrated TV out for both screens the DS in the picture is used as an Input device to the Dev Kit. The fin ontop of it has a WiFi Antenna installed which was an upgraded you could purchase your unit with.
In the dump of the Switch Prototype console the pngs were found which were used to create some of the Avatars seen in the mockups, marked as: Friends and Avatars. I will share the Avatar Pictures in this Thread. The Friends pictures can be found in my previous thread.
@Balkley3Balkley
its basically a Lenovo Thinkstation that was given out to Stadia Developers to use and its basically a PC without the server side of google.
