What really matters is who the personnel is. When you put the second team and back ups in the game, you’ve handled the sportsmanship element. They need to play their best. Period.
PSU did nothing wrong last night. But I hate the “if you don’t like someone running up the score on you, then stop them!” mindset. It’s fundamentally flawed thinking. In such cases, a team had already proven that it is incapable of stopping you and is theoretically helpless.
