I don't really follow non-MBB Big East sports closely, so haven't thought about it much, but AE reminds us that the Big East still hasn't announced what is happening with the Flo Sports contract/content.

I don't think it should be overlooked that Kam Jones becomes just the 6th #mubb guard drafted in the last 40 years. Shaka's player development has been 2nd to none.

I think #mubb AD Mike Broeker's answer here is the key to why MTEs have so little future. Why use those games solely as an expense when you can have it be a revenue generator (as MU will be doing with its IU and OU games in Chicago).
This seems a bit dramatic of a letter from Gazelle Group? Are MTEs really in that much danger?.

If you are an NBA GM and are scouring the depths of Twitter for one last bit of evidence to pull the trigger on Kam Jones, you are most welcome. #mubb just had no 2nd creator this year. It's as simple as that. Kam was still a lethal spot up shooter.

Per Synergy stats, there have been just 4 high major players to ever take 250+ dribble jumpers and none have ever topped 1.000 PPP. Even peak Jimmer topped out at .960 PPP. And here Markus drops a 1.113 in 2019. The best dribble shooter in NCAA history.

This #mubb jersey announcement has me reminiscing with old Markus stats and some of them still don't feel real. In 2019 he took more off-the-dribble-jumpers (265) by himself than 108 whole teams, and was more efficient (1.113 PPP) than all 353 D1 teams.

New KenPom program ratings (since 1997) just dropped, with a new formula that includes HS and transfer ratings, as well as postseason performance. It did not like the Big East, lol. #mubb drops 4 spots to 36, but stays in 3rd in the conference.

I don't think it's a coincidence that #mubb's 2 toughest games (and only true road games) don't come until December. While not a "young" team, lots of new roles to be ironed out in November.
