A) You don’t tend to chat during a tonic clonic seizure

✅ Working in understaffed hospitals

Coming out was in Dec. was the hardest but best thing I’ve ever done. I know though that not everyone is able/ready to come out.
That’s why I struggle with the idea of this day. I’m so glad I’m out, but I’m sending ❤️ who aren’t as lucky as me.

Pregnancy doesn’t mean that a child will be born with HIV, anti-retrovirals work.
Also should anyone live with HIV, an undetectable viral load due to medication, means they cannot pass HIV on (UU).
So Zack might be HIV positive.If he is then the baby growing inside Tiffany could also be HIV. If Zack gets tested and he is positive, he will have to tell Tiffany, she will have to decide if to terminate the pregnancy

I never once heard same-sex relationships taught positively in school. The only time it was discussed at all was in RE class where we would “debate” marriage rights and learn accompanying scripture.
For a young person struggling with who I was, that was very harmful.

Barriers to care for LGBTQ+ exist because of Dr Yousef’s antiquated bigotry. Modern medical practice is not represented by his views.
There is work still to be done. Being LGBTQ+ isn’t a sickness, nor does it have/need a cure.
As a Queer Doctor - I’m not the sick one here, babe.
The only thing I’m ashamed of is that homophobic idiots like this still exist in medicine. I’d have hoped we’d be rid of them by now - but all the more reason to keep working.
