This is my second summer of partnering with Lifespan with essential support from @POCFoundationRI to run this program. So proud of these 5 amazing students who have paid internships in health equity and support Rhode Islanders to get the resources they need!
Yesterday, we checked in with our 5 SNHS students interning at the Lifespan Community Health Institute! Thanks to funding from a @POCFoundationRI grant, they have the opportunity to work towards increasing health equity and providing community resources and care throughout RI.

If you had a million dollars to improve the lives of those who need it most in Rhode Island, how would you do it? That’s the question high schoolers must answer when applying for one scholarship.

Over the summer, POC tagged along with grantee @southsideclt to visit #Cranston’s Urban Edge Farm. There, @BlackBeansPVD was welcomed by farmers who were happy to harvest the food she’d cook for her restaurant’s soft launch. CLICK TO WATCH ⬇️ https://t.co/qLAzoOOA9h
