Abortion makes a women's body and offspring the accountable parties for the social crisis she is experiencing. Is she abused? Blame her body and kill her kid. Is she poor? Blame her body and kill her kid. Is she ambitious? Blame her body and kill her kid. It's all sick.

He says his religion has zero direct relevance and then has the cheek to complain about how the religion is run. He's the one who brought shame on his children, not the church.
This was utterly disrespectful to my family, my constituents including the congregation, and the democratic process. My private religion will continue to have zero direct relevance to my work as an MP representing all my constituents without fear or favour. 3/3.

I now have a visceral reaction to the word "nuance". In my experience, it's not actually used because a situation is incredibly complicated. It is used to intentionally make a very simple problem complicated so that people don't have to take a moral stand on evil.

It's *very* difficult to talk to progressives about criminal justice because they hold to a core untruth: you can "rehabilitate" people. I have no idea where they got this idea. There's basically no evidence that it's possible. But they start with the premise that it's not only.
