Anyone know how to set up an energy supply company or want to lend a few million to do it?.

If the wholesale gas price is now low but we are all still paying loads because the companies fixed the prices they buy at ages ago,why aren't there new energy supply companies appearing who can undercut the old companies and still make a profit buying at today's wholesale price?.

I believe, based on how it works now, for an artist to get £5 of your £10 monthly subscription you would have to listen to them for at least 5 hours every day for the whole month. So if you listen less, more then 50% of your money just stays with Spotify.

I guess currently if someone pays a subscription but doesn't use it much, hardly any of the money goes to artists at all. That seems to be completely unjustifiable. Pay per user, not per play!.

If next month they listen to her 30 times and @BlackSabbath 30 times they should get half each. I don't know how much of that £10 should go to artists but at least £5 seems reasonable. This way your listens count for a lot more money. @Spotify have all this data so why not?.

I have always thought all the problems with @Spotify not paying musicians enough could be solved by changing how they pay. If a user pays £10 a month and they just listen to @taylorswift13, 100% of however much of that £10 gets paid to artists should go to her. .

Why can't we all save a bit of time and admit that capitalism hasn't really worked out for everyone? I thought that might be a lesson that came out of COVID but it is clearly going to take widespread energy poverty to get the message home.
