Delighted to have been nominated today join the board of @EAPNIreland . The EAPN undertake vital work in raising awareness around poverty & social inclusion and put the eradication of such at the top of the Irish & EU agenda. Looking forward to assisting the team going forward.

As the panel have noticed so often outcomes for Travellers are dependent on meeting the ‘right’ person at the ‘right’ time and how unacceptable it is that success would rest on such arbitrary conditions.

Important point by David Joyce that when examining the failings of the Irish education system it is important to engage not only with the break through success stories, but also the many who have fallen through the crack and examine how the system has failed them.
