This course is for students that missed out on their CAO points! The Access to University Course is a full-time 13 week pre-entry course that leads to a place on your chosen undergraduate programme at UL. The course will run from January – May 2025. No course fee for the AUC.

Day 2 of our Summer Transition Programme, we welcomed the 6th class pupils from Our Lady of Lourdes and Thomond Primary School! @BusinessAtUL facilitated workshops on the Cause & Effect of Climate Change! They also took part in team building activities @ULimsport

UL’s Access Office was delighted to host the Academy for Children Graduation on the 17th June! 150 6th class pupils from 7 primary schools were presented with their certificates & 9 pupils who excelled in the programmes were also awarded gift cards! Thanks to all faculty involved

This week we welcomed the lovely 6th class students and their teachers of Scoil Eoin Naofa (St. Johns school) of Irishtown, Lk to the UL Geography laboratory. The students examined limestone rocks for fossils and the very special foraminifera-rich sands from Dogs Bay, Connemara.

In May, we welcomed the 5th & 6th class from St. Joseph’s Boys School. As part of their @MedicineAtUL, the School delivered workshops in Anatomy, Basic CPR/Handwashing/Listening to the in heartbeat, etc. The pupils had a fantastic day and were very impressed with @MedicineAtUL!
