Irish women are regularly amongst the most abused & mistreated in all of Europe. Without deep institutional reform, including of our courts system, and proper education of young men in particular, more meaningful change will not happen. But change is clearly needed.

A Deliveroo driver has told how he used his helmet to hit the man who had attacked a woman and three children in Dublin city centre yesterday. Caio Benicio is originally from Rio de Janeiro in Brazil and arrived in Ireland a year ago. The dad-of-two said he “acted on instinct”.
