Whichever lawyer(s) drafted this up did not do enough research into Kalshi. There are many holes in this that make their case extremely inaccurate. For example, point number 56 is objectively false and proves the plaintiff does not understand what they are writing about.
NEW: Kalshi has been hit with a nationwide class action lawsuit in the SDNY for operating an illegal online sports betting platform and for "duping" customers into believing that they are legally gambling against other consumers when they are actually gambling against the house.

If someone can help me better understand the trade data published by the Polymarket exchange, that would be greatly appreciated! I have checked these figures across the time and sales reports as well as the daily market reports.

After reviewing the data directly from Polymarket, I see that the cumulative trading volume from Nov 14th through the 18th is only $661,051. I can’t find any 24-hour window that comes close to exceeded $1M in volume traded like this article claims.
