Topographical maps show difference in elevation. Everything on the map is technically “elevation”, but not everything is the same elevation.

The "theme"/idea that JBJ is getting at is us maturing through history; primordial vs eschatological.
Adam and Eve are put in the garden with everything already cultivated (primordial), but "donuts" are something they'll “mature into” through time/history (eschatological).
