Despicable & illegal announcement of intention but not unexpected. He says a ‘legitimate Zionist response’ is “sovereignty over the historic regions of Judea and Samaria”. His reaction to a sovereign decision is further violating the self-determination of a people they victimize.

Not only is this administration attacking human rights domestically, but also daring to scold reasonable, humane, & *sovereign* decisions of other states. It’s complicit in serious abuses too by shielding them, & hurting its ally: encouraging impunity, impeding it from improving.
The United States strongly rejects @EmmanuelMacron’s plan to recognize a Palestinian state at the @UN general assembly. This reckless decision only serves Hamas propaganda and sets back peace. It is a slap in the face to the victims of October 7th.
