There is incredible potential for a hybrid architecture. Latency is too high to do cloud gaming. But if you can stream a big latent/embeddings from the cloud at low bit rate and have a tiny local local model that decodes latent=>screen. You're basically streaming compressed

Unelected state bureaucrats are destroying our family home of 50 years—voiding our ability to do basic and necessary maintenance on our own property. Let me explain. Every year, our property—along with other properties in Cannon Beach, Oregon—gets slowly inundated with tens of

a metal forged in stellar explosions, impossible to fake, unchanged for millennia, scarce by the laws of physics One is secured by code. The other is secured by the universe.
Who would win: a digital currency secured by a complex algorithm requiring the combined efforts of a distributed network of computers solving difficult math problems or a yellowish rock

Interesting to note there is still 6k non-believers. It's okay we won't rub it in your face when you capitulate (Citation: Ralph optimizing triton kernels)
Reminder that using AI to write code is an incredibly bad idea still, and anyone advocating for it is either incompetent or evil. It's just as dumb as letting AI write the laws. It's about logic, not about typing.

Japanese bond yields spiked and there was a global liquidity crunch. Trumps comments about tariffs don't have much effect on the markets anymore
Some perspective: The S&P opened down -1.3% on Trump's Greenland saber-rattling. That's $750 billion of wealth destroyed -- roughly equal to estimates of the value of Greenland. And so ~in dollar terms~ his shenanigans have already cost the US one Greenland, and we've got

Japanese bond rates skyrocketed and there was a liquidity crisis. There will be short term issue in high growth stocks, not sure what doomer narrative she is trying to hint at, but it's not correct
can somebody who is good at the economy tell me if this is ok. i want to keep focusing on playing with my claudes but there appears to be a substantial narrative collapse. I wonder what could have caused it. Thinking Ah! I see the issue!

NO, its NOT! This lie won't die. They just have agressive margins. Go look at deepseek's cost per token, or KIMI's.
This is the real problem with AI. Our current consumption is heavily subsidized. And we are getting dopamine-addicted. The key question is what shape will be in the market after all is said and done, and the AI companies that will start charging (and profiting) from this.

A real bubble is when no one is calling it a bubble. When true mania sets in the whole market is delusion. By the end of the next year AI will be widely deployed OpenAI will have an insane IPO, and the bubble will finally be here. Your mom, your cousin, your doctor will all

From the guy who brought you /imagine midjoruney is so fucking linear
gosh, the purely linear, non-differential, non-branching, non-layered UI paradigms around LLMs is such a curse. it's like we've thrown out every piece of cognitive infrastructure we've built since the invention of two way oral communication
