Just back from the Serengeti where I went to see the great wildebeest migration. Unbelievably, I saw not one, but two huge groups of wildebeest cross the Mara river.

Very nice commentary on our preprint describing SARS-CoV-2 antibodies in the Phoenix Park deer. A great collaboration between @ucdvetmed @UCDSBES @UCD_Conway @CEPHR_UCD and of course the brilliant @UCD_Wildlife 🦌
Deer in Dublin’s Phoenix Park are the first deer in Europe shown to have been infected with the coronavirus that causes #COVID19, likely a result of regular human contact.

Well, after a lifetime dreaming about it, I finally saw the northern lights. It was even more incredible than I imagined. @lw_meredith and I teamed up to take the photos which wasn’t easy as we spent most of our time just watching the show!
