UK doctors take note. Sloppy, nondescript scrubs & first name introductions undermine & de-professionalise you & take away patient confidence. If you’re asked to take round the lunch, cut the toe nails, push the chair & paid less than you should be - then ask why. Re-brand!
The Dean called me out during orientation as our best dressed professor. I'm humbled. Yes, I like fashion. But there are deeper reasons why I like to dress up in suits and ties and pocket squares when I teach law school classes (the most important is about my dad) 🧵⤵️
