Thanks to @OxUniPress’s John Fell Fund, @BritishAcademy_, and @WorldBank, and all who generously shared feedback throughout (too many to tag but listed in the paper!) We’re excited to extend this work to other countries that have also had recent experience with Venezuelans. (8/9)

Colombians prefer placing conditional limits on Venezuelans’ abilities to work, bring family members, residency terms, and overall numbers. They also don’t like completely preventing Venezuelans from working compared to more flexible alternatives. (4/9)

We measured Colombians’ support for policy packages towards Venezuelans, comprising randomly-varied options about rights to accessing work, public healthcare, and bringing family, as well as limits on overall numbers, internal mobility, and residency terms. (3/9)

While much migration happens among low/middle-income countries, we know less about preferences in these regions despite large inflows having major economic and political impacts. These demands are likely multifaceted, and sensitive to citizens’ values and priorities. (2/9)
