Great day touring the RRS Sir David Attenborough with @BAS_News yesterday! Managed to get a pic with whale team (@HollyHouliston & @HenrySlesser ) and with krill team (just me and my krill!)

I'm looking for a new PhD student to study #Arctic marine mammals using passive acoustic data from Baffin Bay. Research questions focused on ecology/behaviour and effectiveness of protected areas. Fully funded position, to be based @UVicSEOS. Formal ad coming soon!

I've worked in glaciology, a field inextricably linked with climate, for 14 years. The decline of glaciers and associated impacts can be genuinely traumatic for people who care. This decision from the British government is like a punch to the stomach. 😞 https://t.co/CFGwSLrCkX
