They are the backbone of our healthcare system.
That’s why we’re doubling training places and making sure that more of our fantastic nurses stay in the NHS by promoting flexible working.

I come not to bury him but to praise him. My tribute to my old boss,

We’ve maintained the £2.4 billion annual farming budget which supports farmers to produce food profitably and sustainably, while also protecting nature. 🚜

So sorry to see you stepping down. Thanks for all you have done especially on vaccines and, prior to Parliament, helping to build a world class company
A wonderful ‘departure from politics’ letter by a colleague whose commitment to public service and leadership through some critical moments in our nation’s life over the last few years has been exemplary.

I can’t thank you enough for all the personal kindness & support you’ve given me since 2010.
I’m particularly proud of your work in getting some of the most vulnerable young people in society opportunities to attend our top private schools, & rolling out the Covid vaccine.
@nadhimzahawi
Dear Nadhim, I am grateful to have worked with you when you were Education Minister, thank you for showing a passion to support vulnerable children. I am also thankful for all your efforts to get our nation vaccinated. Looking forward to seeing what you will do next.

Nadhim was a brilliant Minister to work for. Calm. Detailed. Two qualities that set the tone for how we managed the funeral commemorations for Queen Elizabeth II.
But perhaps above all else, he was kind towards those advising and supporting him.
Good luck and thanks, Nadhim.
