We stress that no genuine peace b/w 🇦🇲&🇦🇿 can be achieved w/o justice for the Nagorno-Karabakh people. Any agreement that disregards rights, erases history, sacrifices future is not a peace agreement, but an act of appeasement that rewards aggression & source of future conflict.

The Swiss Council of States adopted Motion No. 24.4259 "Peace Forum for Nagorno-Karabakh: Enabling Return of Armenians." With 29 of its 46 members voting in favor, the Council endorsed the initiative urging 🇨🇭 authorities to establish a forum for dialogue b/w rep-s of NK & AZE.

Azerbaijan is escalating the situation on the contact line with Artsakh through both ceasefire violations and false accusations of violations from our side. International preventive measures are necessary.
Overnight of August 23-24, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces violated the ceasefire in the Martuni region by using small arms. No casualties on the Artsakh side. The Command of the Russian peacekeeping troops is informed about the ceasefire violation.
