WARNING. THIS IS A SCAM BY CRIMINALS TRYING TO STEAL MONEY. PLS SHARE. This is frightening, it's the first deep fake video scam I've seen with me in it. Govt & regulators must step up to stop big tech publishing such dangerous fakes. People'll lose money and it'll ruin lives.

It's usually a combination of issues that lead to people ending up in court. Government cuts to legal aid (free legal support) means that many fall through the cracks. But access to justice isn't a luxury, it's a human right. https://t.co/HjaIUwuzxU

We are part of network of @TrussellTrust food banks. Today the release of figures shows that almost 3 million (2,986,203) emergency food parcels were distributed to people experiencing hardship over the past 12 months – with over 1 million parcels going to children across the UK

Under international law, anyone has the right to seek asylum. There's no such thing as an illegal asylum seeker. In the 1951 Refugee Convention, it's recognised that those fleeing danger may have to use irregular routes to safety. MPs are voting on this tonight (Wednesday)⤵️

The #HighCourt ruled on 7 February that DWP’s decisions to recover ‘official error’ overpayment debt from K’s benefits were unlawful & that she should not have to repay the £8,623.20 debt Forcing K to pay back the overpayment would have left her without enough money to live on.

"K has shown great fortitude in the face of persistent unlawful refusals by #DWP to do the right thing and waive this overpayment, which was caused solely by their own mistakes." With thanks to K's benefits advisors at @NBACBristol and counsel Adam Straw KC & @tdroyston
