Another night of fireworks. Epileptic dog so distressed he had to be given a sedative. 2nd dog hiding, 3rd dog terrified, climbing on my lap. A change is needed. Fireworks are now too loud and powerful, they should not be sold to the public, organised displays only.

Had my gas fire and boiler serviced last year, also new radiators put in. Different firm this year, turns out the gas fire is dangerous, work on radiators shoddy and not meeting regs. Tomorrow is going to be an interesting discussion with the original firm about putting it right.

Fireworks have been going off near me since about 5pm. A whole evening of fright and distress for my dogs. One is cowering under my desk shaking, the others are hiding behind the sofa. Fireworks are cruel
