Science teachers. I've been reading through this useful document on the language of Maths in Science. Free from @theASE. A very useful tome for Science teachers and one I have only come across this week:

My photo kissing a nuclear waste cask went viral and people had… opinions about it. There was outrage, with many claiming it was dangerous and that I was hurting my future children (lol). Here’s why kissing a nuclear waste cask is actually fine🧵

Don't know if I'm late to the party on this one or what, but I hate stearic acid to show latent heat as it takes about 40 mins! The answer... beeswax! Takes about 8 mins and hovers perfectly at 52 deg. S's think it's magic, but that's what Science is! @ChatPhysics

A fantastic article written by a fantastic practition, if I implement this into my practice, then my students will probably do better!
Incredibly proud of this piece I’ve put together for @RoySocChem. I would really appreciate any RTs or feedback ☺️

A good choice, should be a permanent change but knowing it'll be for the next 3 years will be helpful!
Students taking GCSE maths, physics and combined science exams in 2025, 2026 and 2027 will be provided with formulae and revised equation sheets. @educationgovuk @ASCL_UK @SFCA_info @AoC_info @AQA @PearsonEdexcel @thejmcuk @NCETM @Just_Maths @ChatPhysics

Before I start making them, does anyone have SLoP booklets for each of the topics in GSCE Physics? The ones I have gathered for Bio and Chem are 200 AO1 style questions, can't find anything similar for Phys though... @Hookean1 @ChatPhysics

Did not see this coming! There's an Ofqual consultation on potentially continuing to give GCSE equation sheets for the next three years. You can give your thoughts on the link below 👇 https://t.co/HCBDbpKyt9
