What Ontario is doing to education workers is illegal, and know it. There is a word for people who knowingly break the law.

Today, @fordnation introduced legislation to remove the rights of education workers to negotiate a fair deal. Here's the facts: Education workers earn an average of 39K a year. 2/3 are women. 1/3 rely on food banks to survive. 1/2 have a second job. They deserve better.

People should be livid about the Ford government using the notwithstanding clause. This allows a government to override the constitution - allowing them to do something that otherwise would be illegal. The clause has been used 7 times outside of Quebec. 3 by Ford. 1/4
