Parents don’t need to be perfect. Parents need to build a self-correcting family system. This fixes any problems. The issue is, most of us have never seen a healthy family system that self-corrects. So we don’t know the good things we have to teach and do. Here’s a list:

My son slept in my room next to my bed until he was 8mos old in his bassinet and then the raised bed on his pack n play when he outgrew the bassinet. I felt I had to be near him in infancy for sure! He knew he wasn’t alone and I was right there also. We all slept well.
